From the People from france electro collective Valerie, Russ Chimes can be an electro producer from London, England, who founded himself in the past due 2000s having a couple of remixes that demonstrated popular around the blogosphere. Affected by ’80s synth funk (e.g., Prince), he was initially championed from the taste-making MP3 blog page Discodust in July 2007. Your blog posted some of his early productions, “Afterburner,” “Mulsanne,” and “She’s Got heat,” and later on posted a couple of his remixes. Remixes by Chimes of Sam Sparro’s “Dark & Platinum” and Chromeo’s “Nice Footwork” got Chimes a whole lot of interest in 2008. Remixes of Frankmusik’s “Misunderstandings Lady,” Marina & the Gemstones’ “Mowgli’s Street,” as well as the Outrunners’ “These Ladies Are Outfitted to Destroy” followed in ’09 2009.
