Ruper Ordorika

The original songs from the Basque region of Spain receive contemporary interpretations by singer and composer Ruper Ordorika. His tracks, co-written with lyricist Bernardo Atxago, effectively bridge traditional music and Traditional western rock and roll and blues affects. A indigenous of Onate, Spain, Ordorika shifted with his family members to Vitoria at age 12. While there, he became enchanted from the music performed from the city’s many rock and roll bands. Time for his Onate after 2 yrs, he became significantly attracted to traditional music. While going to the College or university of Balboa, he started composing with Atxago. While his debut recording, Hauta Da Anphora, released in 1980, got a sparse strategy with his classical guitar providing the accompaniment for his vocals, Ordorika veered towards an acoustic/electrical band sound along with his second work, Ni Ez Norugako Errege, in 1983. After surviving in London for two years, Ordorika came back towards the Basque area to record his third recording, Bihotzerreak, in 1985. As well as diatonic accordion participant Joseph Tapia and mandolin and classical guitar participant Bixente Martinez documented an record of traditional music, Hiru Truku, in 1994. The task was continuing, four years afterwards, using the record, Hiru Truku II. Ordorika became a member of with three New York-based improvisatory music artists to record Dablien Harria in 1998.
