Rubblebucket

A spirited indie pop dance music group using a reggae-pop former and a penchant for worldbeat and ska-infused arrangements that invoke brands like Vampire Weekend, Brazilian Young ladies, Interest Pit, and Dirty Projectors, Brooklyn’s Rubblebucket was formed in 2007 by music few Alex Toth (trumpet) and Kalmia Traver (vocals, saxophone) following the set parted ways using the East Coastline roots-reggae futurists John Brown’s Body. They released their debut record, Rose’s Dream, beneath the Rubblebucket Orchestra moniker in 2008 and had taken to the street. The eponymous Rubblebucket implemented in ’09 2009, and discovered the band falling the Orchestra element of their name, even while they grew in quantities. Total momentum was attained in 2011 upon the discharge of their third long-player, the critically acclaimed Omega La La, which led to an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and arrived the melody “ARRIVED of a female” in the indie humor Consuming Buddies. Their 2012 and 2013 EPs, Oversaturated and Conserve Charlie, respectively, brought them even more interest, culminating in the discharge of 2014’s Communion Records-issued full-length Success Noises and Carousel Trip EP. In 2017 the music group issued a fresh EP, If U C My Foes, via their very own label, So Feeling Records.
