Royal Hunt

Royal Hunt began in 1991 when bandleader Andre Anderson, originally from Moscow, joined up with up in Denmark with singer Henrik Brockmann, bassist Steen Mogensen, and drummer Kenneth Olson. With Andre on keyboards and program musicians playing electric guitar, Royal Hunt was established to record their initial album, Property of Broken Hearts. This is a basic rock and roll set offering Andre’s classically inspired melodies. For another album, Clown within the Reflection, Jacob Kjaer, who acquired played over the initial album, joined up with the music group as lead guitarist. Clown within the Reflection is a more intensifying record and features a lot more classical-sounding melodies than its forerunner. A new period of Royal Hunt music started on another album, Moving Focus on, when Brockmann was changed by American vocalist D.C. Cooper. Although Anderson continuing to write all of the music, Cooper brought an alternative, softer sound towards the music group. Anderson’s songwriting also matured, and Shifting Target sounded similar to an album, instead of a assortment of music. Just one more lineup change strike for the 4th record, Paradox, as drummer Kenneth Olsen was compelled to keep the music group because of hearing complications. Paradox, having a program drummer, continued across the path started by Shifting Target, if just a little softer. Two times Reside in Japan adopted in 1999. The concert LP Two times Reside in Japan and the brand new studio album Dread both fallen in 1999, the second option which was the 1st outing for fresh vocalist John Western. The band’s 6th long participant, 2001’s The Objective, was an idea album constructed around writer Ray Bradbury’s sci-fi traditional The Martian Chronicles, and was adopted in 2003 by Eyewitness. 2005’s Paper Bloodstream noticed the departures of Jacob Kjaer and Steen Mogensen, and was the last Royal Hunt outing to feature Western on vocals. 2008’s Collision Program… Paradox II released new vocalist Tag Boals, who also made an appearance on 2010’s aptly-named X. 2011’s Display Me HOW EXACTLY TO Live designated the come back of vocalist D.C. Cooper, who remained up to speed for follow-up albums A Existence to Die For (2013) and Devil’s Dozen (2015).
