Route 94

Hailing from Richmond, London, Course 94 may be the alias of electronic maker and DJ Rowan Jones. Increasing to prominence along with his U.K. chart-topping monitor “My Like” in March 2014, Jones started his musical profession this year 2010 like a dubstep maker who worked beneath the name Desire. After uploading three of his songs to UKF Dubstep, the tunes were found out by Run after & Position and, later on, Skrillex, who consequently released Jones’ EP THIS IS NOT House by himself OWSLA label. In 2012, he produced the guise Path 94 and finished up obtaining his fresh demos and dubplates performed on Skream and Benga’s Radio 1 display. He erased all social networking profiles and on-line references to Desire, leading many dance music magazines to try and uncover who was simply behind Path 94 (it had been later uncovered that it had been Jones behind both works). In 2013, he remixed famous brands Surprise Queen, Katy B, and Skream. He released his debut EP, Soar 4 Lifestyle, under Path 94 in June 2013, and afterwards signed with Wash FM. His discovery single, “My Like,” offering Jess Glynne, began to grab airplay in Sept 2013, and in early 2014 garnered more than enough momentum and interest it reached number 1 in March 2014. Jones also created the monitor “Everything” for Katy B’s sophomore record, Little Crimson, and released the Misunderstood EP on Leftroom Information. After devoting a lot of his time for you to membership and celebration gigs, he resumed his discharge plan in 2016 using the Fabric-released EP A WHOLE NEW Day. This is implemented in 2017 by Brain, Body & Spirit (Crosstown Rebels) and a remix of Sooney’s “Back again to the Music” on Popular Creations.
