Rough House Survivers

Rough Home Survivors released one album, Right From the Spirit, in 1992. DJ Swinn and MCs Dread One, Kev, and Roberto composed the quartet, who have been lucky enough to provide their rhymes together with a few of Tony Dofat’s (Mary J. Blige’s What’s the 411, Monifah’s Mo’hogany, Large D’s Blue Funk) greatest production function. Although its stature was bolstered relatively with looks from Brand Nubian’s Grand Puba and Sadat X, in addition to C.L. Simple — not forgetting singles like “Examine da BACKPACK” and “YOU HAVE It” — Right From the Spirit slipped with the cracks rather than proceeded to go beyond cult position as an excellent golden-age-era album.
