Blues vocalist Rosie Mae Moore recorded several tunes in the late ’20s, including “Staggering Blues” and “Stranger Blues.” She was from Jackson, MS and performed in medication shows before obtaining associated with blues guitarist and mandolinist Charlie McCoy. McCoy followed Moore on her behalf recordings for Victor, as do guitarist Ishman Bracey.
