Rosetta Hightower produced her primary tag as the business lead singer from the Orlons, who rolled off some girl group spirit hits in the first ’60s, including “The Wah-Watusi,” “Don’t HANG UP THE PHONE,” “South Road,” and “Not Me personally.” Following the Orlons split up, Hightower shifted to Britain, where she documented several singles and released, in 1971, a few similarly entitled albums. Hightower was definitely the best of the, merging rock, spirit, and folk-rock with stellar program music artists like Rick Grech, Harold McNair, Jim Cost, and Bobby Tips.
