Rosendo Mercado

Legendary Spanish musician Rosendo Mercado began taking part in guitar in 1966, quickly teaming up with Valeriano Moreno and taking part in as La Patata Química and Yesca; he became a member of the music group Fresa in 1972. 2 yrs later on, after changing their name to Ñu, the group became probably one of the most well-known bands on the neighborhood rock picture. In 1978, Rosendo Mercado created a threesome known as Leño, who remaining a very important legacy once they disbanded in the first ’80s. In 1985, the vocalist/guitarist went by himself, documenting Locos Por Incordiar, using bassist Tato Gómez, keyboardist Andreas Schmidgen, and drummer Sergio Castillo. That recording, made by Carlos Narea, was accompanied by 1986’s Fuera de Lugar and 1987’s A Todas las Lombrices. After departing RCA-Ariola, Rosendo authorized with regional label DRO-Gasa, issuing Deja Que les Diga Que No, that was made by Eugenio Muñoz. Furthermore, he documented “Adios a Todas las Armas” for any collective album known as Unidos Por la Paz. He later on was found performing and playing acoustic guitar on Extremoduro’s “La Canción de Los Oficios” and “Perro Callejero,” becoming a member of Joaquín Sabina on “Un Blues de lo Que Pasa en Mi Escalera.”
