Rosemarie Lang

Rosemarie Lang is a well-known German dramatic soprano. She was created in Erzgebirge, researched singing on the Leipzig Musikhochschule, and earned a first award at a global performing competition while still students. She became a member of the opera businesses of Altenburg and Leipzig. She sings the Strauss jobs of Octavian (Rosenkavalier) as well as the Composer (Ariadne auf Naxos), Gluck’s Clytemnestra, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Verdi’s Azucena, as well as the Wagnerian jobs of Brangäne, Venus, Fricka, and Waltraute, aswell as the Countess Geschwitz in Berg’s Lulu.
