Rosa Marya Colin

Rosa Marya Colin’s earliest artistic shows were at Rádio Tupi and Rádio Mayrink Veiga (Rio de Janeiro), performing also jazz and bossa nova in the historic Beco das Garrafas. Her 1st LP premiered in 1965, Uma Rosa com Bossa, which drew the interest of critics over her function. In 1996, having participated in the musical Viva Elvis, Colyn toured Brazil using the display Uma Rosa na Asa perform Vento, and within the next 12 months she worked well in the musical Cabaret Brasil (by Wolf Maia/Cininha de Paula). Her interpretation for “Brida” was used as the starting theme of Television Manchete’s homonymous cleaning soap opera (1998), and in the same 12 months she toured Brazil using the display Cores.
