Rope can be an electro-acoustic duo made up of Przemyslaw Chris Drazek on electric guitar and trumpet and Robert Iwanik on electric powered bass and vocals. Both were originally within a music group known as KRZYCZ (translation: “scream”) but still left after several produces and a tour because these were uninterested in the materials: noise rock and roll. In 1998, the duo after that formed Rope within their little community in Poland and afterwards documented an EP, Fever, in Warsaw. Inspired by rings on Amphetamine Reptile and Contact & Proceed, the music group started playing splintered post-hardcore, but quickly shifted to even more drone-based, psychedelic materials similar to Swans, Current 93, or Nick Cave. In 2000, they offered everything they possessed and shifted to Chicago to participate the city’s flourishing experimental picture. Rope obtained drummer Mike Kendrick, started touring, and had written material for a fresh recording. The EP Fever after that noticed its American launch on Family members Vineyard in 2002.
