Ron McClure Quartet

b. 22 November 1941, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. McClure began playing the accordion when he was five yrs . old, and performed the piano at senior high school. He researched the bass on the Julius Hartt Conservatory in Hartford, so when he still left in 1963 continued to study structure with Hall Overton and Don Sebesky. By enough time he became a member of Charles Lloyd in 1967, he previously played with Pal Affluent, Herbie Mann and Wynton Kelly support Wes Montgomery. Lloyd’s enormously effective group got McClure on world-wide travels before he came back to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, where he was a creator person in the fusion music group Fourth Way.
