ROMES

Toronto-based digital indie outfit ROMES possess a brief history dating back again to their childhood years. Canadian-born brothers Jacob (vocals) and Nick Bitove (drums) befriended Andrew Keyes (bass) and Adam Tebbitt (electric guitar) while participating in St. Gerard’s College in Bray, Ireland. The four close friends formed a music group and soon shifted to Canada, so when that music group split in 2015, they began ROMES. The quartet’s shiny, synth-heavy pop sound gained them evaluations to acts just like the 1975 and Years & Years. After credit scoring a cope with Universal-affiliated Eleven Seven Music, they caused manufacturer Tony Hoffer (Beck, M83, Phoenix) to record their debut EP, Believe, which found its way to the springtime of 2016. It had been followed a season afterwards by another one, “My Era.”
