Roman Simovic

Roman Simovic is a Ukrainian violinist and conductor. He started acquiring music lessons along with his dad, conductor Igor Simovic, and researched on the Cetinje Music Academy, the Academy of Music and Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia, as well as the Moscow Condition Conservatory, where he finished his master’s level. He participated in a number of international competitions, earning awards on the Premio Rodolfo Lipizer International Violin Competition, the Sion-Valais Competition, the Yampolsky Violin Competition, as well as the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition. This year 2010, after using Camerata Salzburg, Simovic was called a leader from the London Symphony Orchestra. Simovic provides performed numerous orchestras, like the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, the Kiev Philharmonic, the Prague Philharmonia, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, the Teatro di Regio Torino, the Poznan Philharmonic, Camerata Bern, the Brabant Orchestra, as well as the Seoul Sinfonietta, amongst others, and he provides played at many music festivals, like the Dubrovnik Summertime Celebration, the Kotor Artwork Celebration, as well as the Bergen Celebration.
