Roman Janal is a noted Czech baritone. He started his years as a child musical tests by acquiring violin, and he graduated through the Pilsen Conservatory with a significant in violin playing. He started higher education in the Prague Music Academy in 1985. There he turned his emphasis to performing. Attracted from the Bulgarian custom of effective lower-voice performing, he continued to review in the Music Academy in Sofia. While there, he started to sing in the Country wide Theatre. His debut was at Banska Bystrica in Czechoslovakia, and he became a member of the Prague Chamber Opera (right now Opera Mozart). In 1995 he earned first place in the Antonín Dvorák International Performing Competition in Karlovy Var (Karlsbad). He examined interpretation with Peter Schreier, Sherrill Milnes, and Eva Randova. He debuted on the Condition Opera in Prague in two leading Mozart assignments, Guglielmo in Così enthusiast tutte and Figaro in The Relationship of Figaro. He shortly joined up with the roster of this opera home. In 1997 he became a member of the Prague Country wide Theater (the primary opera home in the Czech Republic), which includes used him on many successful tours. Furthermore he’s a preferred at music celebrations throughout Europe, like the Europalia Brussels, Prague Fall months, and Event Pontes. Furthermore to his status like a Mozart professional, he frequently shows up in the music of his countryman Bohuslav Martinu. He participated in the main retrospective “Times of Bohuslav Martinu” series in London in 1998, and in the Martinu Event of Amsterdam. Janal is energetic on the concert stage so that as a single recitalist. He regularly appears using the Prague Philharmonia Orchestra using its conductor, Jirí Belohlávek, and it is a normal performer on Czech Radio. His compact disk releases consist of Martinu’s Voice from the Forest within the Supraphon label, and Pavel Haas’ The Charlatan on Decca-London, aswell as music of Mozart, Dvorák, Schubert, and Schulhoff.
