Roger Lion

A collaboration between two artists who became sympatico despite having seemingly small in keeping, Roger Lion was a project that featured singer and songwriter Joe Pernice, most widely known for his use the Pernice Brothers as well as the Scud Hill Boys, and Budo (aka Josh Karp), a producer and multi-instrumentalist who spent some time working with Macklemore, Grieves, and M.anifest. Regarding to Pernice, the Roger Lion task came into being when he received a note from Budo, who was simply interested in performing a remix of a vintage Scud Hill Boys monitor. Pernice initially believed the be aware was a prank, but he was confident that Budo was on the particular level, and became a lover after looking into Budo’s solo recording The Finger & the Moon. Budo and Pernice quickly began operating up materials by exchanging documents on-line, and without ever conference in person, they finished the debut Roger Lion recording, that was released by Group Love Information in Sept 2015.
