Mexican Rogelio Martínez began singing at an extremely young age, recognized by his father, artist Juan José Martínez. Rogelio effectively participated in various music contests after his family members transferred to the U.S. Furthermore, he began an acting profession, producing his debut while playing a job in the 1997 film La Amarradora, functioning along with Valentin Trujillo and Lorena Herrera. Rogelio Martínez’ discovery emerged after issuing a Spanish edition of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the main one,” entitled “Y Sigues Siendo Tú.”
