Based round the songwriting talents of Jeff Tucker, the California-based alternative rock and roll outfit Rock and roll Kills Kid initially emerged together within the last area of the ’90s. Having lately graduated from senior high school, Tucker was directionless and socially withdrawn when he finally upset the nerve to attach with some regional punk bands and commence writing songs. As well as two of his bandmates, drummer Chris Poulson and bassist Kirk Huffman, Tucker shaped Rock Kills Child and documented a demonstration that resulted in the people inking a cope with Fearless Information in 2000. Their eponymous EP made an appearance in early 2001 to good response, but Rock and roll Kills Kid hardly ever really toured behind it. Tucker shortly found himself without cash and living being a squatter in the LA recording studio. More than the next couple of years, he continuously wrote — hardly leaving his unlawful quarters — and by the finish of 2003, Tucker got amassed near 150 songs. In the meantime, Rock Kills Child was still alive in name, but with an unpredictable roster, definately not actually being truly a music group. Undeterred, Tucker ultimately recruited bassist Shawn Dailey, keyboardist Reed Calhoun, drummer Ian Hendrickson, and guitarist Sean Stopnik to once more full the group. Following the music group agreed upon to Reprise through the documenting process, the psychologically tense Are You Anxious? arrived in Might 2006. Made by Tag Trombino (blink-182, Jimmy Eat Globe), their full-length debut was a post-punk-inspired work that Tucker utilized to cope with his many years of self-imposed isolation. March was allocated to the road using the Electric powered Six and Problem of You; different tour dates implemented the record’s discharge as well.
