Rock Candy Funk Party

A jazz-funk fusion revival supergroup, Rock and roll Chocolate Funk Party grew out of the instrumental album recorded by drummer and maker Tal Bergman and guitarist Ron DeJesus in 2007 called Grooove, Vol. 1. The set played several following live dates in the Cooked Potato jazz golf club in LA, and encouraged additional musicians to sit down in, and steadily Rock and roll Chocolate Funk Party arrived collectively from these live classes, finally buying a lineup of Bergman, DeJesus, bassist Mike Merritt, keyboardist Renato Neto, and, in 2012, guitarist Joe Bonamassa. The music group released a debut recording under the Rock and roll Candy Funk Party moniker, WE WISH Groove, in 2013 through Bonamassa’s label, J&R Activities (Provogue Productions released it in European countries).
