Robert Lloyd

b. 1959, Cannock, Staffordshire, Britain. Influenced by T. Rex, Lloyd performed in several rings that under no circumstances escaped the rehearsal space. He left college at age 16 and began to follow the Sex Pistols around on the Anarchy Tour. At among the displays he persuaded a promoter to provide him some gigs. The effect was the hurriedly constructed Prefects in Feb 1977, composed of Lloyd, Alan and Paul Apperley, and Joe Crow. After one efficiency at an exclusive party and something at the popular Barbarella’s golf club in Birmingham, the Prefects had been offered the opportunity of standing set for the Slits in a Clash concert. Once the Buzzcocks lowered from the following tour, the Prefects had been offered a long term place.
