Robert Crenshaw

The brother of pop cult hero Marshall Crenshaw and an excellent singer/songwriter in his own right, Robert Crenshaw was created and raised in suburban Detroit, becoming infatuated with music while still a toddler. Provided a couple of drums, he patterned his playing following the primal design of the Who’s Keith Moon, and along with his siblings frequently performed the very best rock’n’roll strikes of your day; once the Crenshaw family members obtained a reel-to-reel tape machine in the first ’70s, both Robert and Marshall started writing and saving their own materials aswell. By age 17 Robert was also drumming in an area oldies band, ultimately moving to NEW YORK to study documenting and later functioning under Atlantic Information co-founder Natural herb Abramson.
