Drummer Rob Bourdon was created on January 20, 1979, in Calabasas, CA, building him the youngest person in rap-metal powerhouse Linkin Recreation area. He started playing drums in primary school after going to an Aerosmith concert along with his mom, and performed in the music group Relative Level with long term Linkin Recreation area bandmate Brad Delson while in senior high school in Agoura Hillsides, CA (the same college attended by people of contemporary rockers Hoobastank). When Comparative Degree fell aside, Bourdon and Delson teamed up with schoolmate Mike Shinoda in the music group Xero. The group held running also after senior high school was over, changing over time right into a sextet and finally getting the multi-platinum-selling action Linkin Recreation area.
