River City Expansion were formed by Joe Michelini, a longtime fixture in the brand new Jersey songwriting picture who started piecing together a little acoustic music group in past due 2007. The group ultimately ballooned into an eight-member ensemble, with the capacity of turning out folk ballads about a minute and skittish Gypsy punk another. By the springtime of 2010, River Town Extension experienced toured to get a self-released EP, authorized with XOXO Information (house to fellow Shirt natives the Gaslight Anthem), and released a debut recording, The Unmistakable Guy.
