Ripley Caine

Chicago-based singer/songwriter Ripley Caine surfaced in the past due ’90s with a solid, uncompromising sound that combined indie rock grit using a confessional folk style. Citing affects like PJ Harvey and Joni Mitchell, Caine became a fixture from the Midwestern picture, releasing a string of well-received unbiased albums and EPs you start with 1998’s Thrift Shop Sweater. Her profession continued to prosper through the entire 2000s with albums like Fan (2003) as well as the Logic of Appreciate (2006). Following a couple of EPs — NOTHING LIKE Other Young ladies (2010) and Scotch (2012) — Caine came back in 2016 with Bravo, her initial full-length discharge in ten years.
