RinneRadio

A Finnish techno act which received their nation’s exact carbon copy of a Grammy for Jazz Band of the entire year, RinneRadio incorporate the improvisation and intelligence of jazz while maintaining the power and futuristic eyesight of digital music. Shaped by saxophone participant Tapani Rinne, developers Kajasto and Jari Kokkonen, DJ Ken One and mixing machine Smoju, the quintet debuted in 1988 using a self-titled LP for Finland’s Leo Information. Dance and Visions implemented in 1990 for Pyramid, and RinneRadio shifted to the Aani label. The group’s couple of albums for the label (1992s’ Joik and 1994’s Unik) demonstrated increasing hip-hop affects. At one live present in 1994, staged with the worldwide Symposium of Electronic Artwork, RinneRadio performed live while a DJ manipulated an on-the-fly mixture of their materials in another area and group visible programmer VSA supplied real-time visuals; impressed by the efficiency were several United kingdom CD-ROM manufacturers, who recruited the group for the Digital Nightclub task. By 1995, RinneRadio got shifted to Rockadillo Information, which released their 5th record Rok early the next year.
