Richard Meyer

Vocalist/songwriter Richard Meyer was in the center from the Greenwich Community folk picture from the first ’80s and in to the ’90s — he produced concerts and radio applications, edited Fast Folk Music Newspaper between 1986 and 1992, and developed a solid body of function, like the Shanachie label albums THE NICE Life! (1992) along with a Letter in the Open up Sky (1994). A thorough artist involved with producing, organizing, and composing (including reviews for any Music Instruction), in addition to lighting and landscape design for movie theater productions, Meyer was identified as having Parkinson’s disease in the past due 2000s. The condition left Meyer struggling to perform, and he transferred into a NY area nursing service.
