Richard Denton and Martin Cook

Richard Denton (guitar, keyboards), and Martin Cook (guitar, keyboards) were both orchestra leaders who teamed up in the past due 70s to compose and produce theme and incidental music for BBC Tv serials and documentaries, especially for ‘The Theme From Hong Kong Defeat’, a string examining the Hong Kong POLICE which, when shown in 1978, topped the rankings and pushed the programme’s theme in to the UK singles chart. Following this achievement they continued to produce styles for Gemstones In The Sky, THE FANTASTIC Egg Competition and in 1980 a fresh electronic starting for the long-running technology series Tomorrow’s Globe.
