Richard Butler arrived around the U.K. rock and roll picture in 1977 because the enigmatic lead vocalist for the Psychedelic Furs. The group’s heady mixture of punk, post-rock, and fresh wave received them legions of followers all over the world. The group disbanded in 1991, prompting Butler to create the likewise themed Like Spit Like. Their self-titled debut premiered in 1994, accompanied by Trysome Eatone in 1997. Butler’s eponymous single debut album found its way to 2006 around the Koch label.
