Rich Perry

An excellent young veteran tenor participant, Rich Perry continued the street in 1975 using the Glenn Miller ghost music group. In 1976, he shifted to NY and became a member of the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis orchestra. He continued to try out with a multitude of best players including Chet Baker, Machito, Bob Moses, Jack port McDuff, Billy Hart, Eddie Gomez, Tom Harrell, the Mel Lewis big music group, and Harold Danko. Affluent Perry first documented as a head in 1993 for SteepleChase.
