Rich Mullins

Full Mullins was a lot of things towards the CCM community: a beloved performer nominated for 12 Dove Awards, a specialist on many instruments (including hammered dulcimer, piano, and guitar), and an extremely successful songwriter, in charge of perhaps one of the most well-known modern praise songs around, “Amazing God.” Blessed in 1955 in Richmond, IN, he started playing piano at age four, and steadily became efficient on electric guitar and dulcimer aswell. In 1974, he began monitoring at Cincinnati Bible University, where he composed praise songs and frequently performed on classical guitar. Within Zion Ministries, Mullins toured the united states and led compliment & worship conferences at many retreats.
