Rich Hands

A music group that combines ’50s rock and roll & move, ’60s garage area sounds, and ’70s punk, and writes tracks filled with similar parts energy and hooks, the Affluent Hands hail from San Antonio, Tx and also have quickly become perhaps one of the most well-known bands within a thriving regional music picture. Guitarist and business lead vocalist Cody Mauser and drummer Nick Ivarra initial met if they had been in senior high school, and bonded over their distributed passion for upbeat, hooky rock and roll & move. Mauser and Ivarra got played jointly in a small number of regional bands before developing the Affluent Hands in 2011 with guitarist Steven Santillan and bassist Adam Zapata. The Affluent Hands soon created a reputation being a music group to watch, launching a seven-song cassette through Dallas Distortion Music, and had been planning for a tour in middle-2012 when Santillan and Zapata slipped from the music group. Undaunted, Mauser and Ivarra recruited another longtime friend, Matt Gonzales, to try out bass, as well as the Affluent Hands soldiered on being a trio. When the group uncovered the Detroit-based Fountain Information label was pursuing their Twitter give food to, the music group joking asked if indeed they could transfer a demonstration; the label stated sure, and shortly Fountain released a 7″ one, “Heartbreaker” b/w “Female.” Another single, “Poor Female” b/w “La Luna,” implemented in 2013, quickly before the discharge from the Wealthy Hands’ 1st full-length recording, Dreamers, that was released on vinyl fabric by Fountain and on cassette from the well known West Coastline indie label Burger Information. By this time around, the High Hands have been called most underrated music group in the San Antonio Music Honours in both 2012 and 2013, although second year in addition they took house trophies for Greatest Indie ROCK-BAND and Best Recording. More touring adopted, and in 2014, the trio finished their second album, Out of My Mind, once more released by cooperatively by Fountain and Burger.
