Riccardo Fogli

Born on Oct 21, 1947, in Pontedera, Italy, Riccardo Fogli (pronounced FOL’-yee) started his musical profession young, initially singing in country festivals and in local dancehalls. Later on, he teamed up using the Slenders, among the countless rock and roll groups inspired from the success from the Beatles. During among their trips, Fogli fulfilled the users of Pooh, currently an established music group with several singles under their belt. In 1966, he became a member of Pooh, with whom he documented the albums Opera Prima and Alessandra.
