Rhythmtown Jive

Hailing in the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA area, Rhythmtown Jive may be the best area exponent of jump-swing blues, R&B styled originals and New Orleans design music. Originally called Five Guys Called Mo, they transformed to their current moniker once the music group started growing its account, including keyboardist Caroline Dahl. The home music group on the 15th annual Sacramento Blues Celebration, they stay the hot support music group, having been the music group of preference for Etta Adam, Richard Berry, Don & Dewey, LaVern Baker, Big Joe Turner, Bo Diddley and many others. Among their newer albums, On the primary Stem, features among their former support tasks, Johnnie Johnson, better recognized to blues and rock and roll & roll supporters as Chuck Berry’s piano participant. With an array of designs covered along with a arranged list that will go far away from regular “Hey Ba-Ba Re-Bop” sort of fare, Rhythmtown Jive is growing and flourish.
