Replicantes

The punk rock-band Replicantes, formed in 1983 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande perform Sul by Wander Wildner (vocals/guitar), Cláudio Heinz (vocals/guitar), Herón Heinz (bass) and Carlos Gerbase (drums), had its first break within the next year, when the Rádio Ipanema FM (from Porto Alegre) aired “Nicotina” and “Princípio perform Nada”. Using the reputation achieved these were asked to take part in the compilation Rock and roll Grande perform Sul, documenting “Surfista Calhorda” and “A Verdadeira Corrida Espacial”, sided by Engenheiros perform Hawaii, TNT, De Falla among others. In 1985 the group documented an independent one through their very own label Vortex, using their “Nicotina”, “Rock and roll Superstar” , “O Futuro É Vórtex” and “Surfista Calhorda”. “Surfista Calhorda” became a countrywide success shown by radios through the entire country, which taken to the group an invitation to record the initial LP, O Futuro é Vortex, which acquired “Advertisementúltera” censored. After introducing the third recording in 1989, Papel de Mau, Wildner remaining the group and Gerbase overran the vocals, becoming changed on drums by Biba (previous De Falla). Andróides Sonham com Guitarras Unétricas (1991) designated the finish of the actions of the group through the following years, which would just be reactivated using the live Replicantes Ao Vivo (1996). In 2000 the Replicantes had been among the attractions from the Abril Pro Rock and roll festival.
