Like Danilo Pérez, Brad Mehldau, and a variety of jazz pianists, Canadian piano participant and composer Renee Rosnes keeps challenging herself and pressing herself and her collaborators in fresh directions. As a pianist in Vancouver, English Columbia, Rosnes got her musical cues and motivation from famous brands Oscar Peterson, McCoy Tyner, and Horace Metallic.
