Relax to Paris

Rest to Paris was made up of vocalist/guitarist Ryan Gelber, drummer Chris Peck, bassist and keyboardist Cassie Nickols, and past due addition second guitarist Matt Roberts. Located in LA, the band constructed a buzz because of its refined, straightforward pop/rock and roll sound for the USC and UCLA campuses, and began gigging at regional clubs just like the Roxy and Whiskey AGoGo. Regional music displays on region radio outlets started rotating the group, and Gelber earned a nationwide songwriting competition for his “Save Me to get a Rainy Time.” R2P captured a huge break when in Sept 2003 it had been chosen being a finalist in the 3rd annual Coca-Cola SONGS Competition. Pitted against two various other hopefuls, Relax to Paris would play that Oct on the CMJ Music Marathon in NEW YORK, using the victor executing for a nationwide TV audience on the American Music Honours the next November.
