Regular John

All three of Regular John’s frontmen sing and write their personal tracks, giving variety with their make of grungy hard rock and roll and sometimes financing it more metallic riffs or punk thrash or politics dissatisfaction. The people came collectively after conquering Australia’s tyranny of range. Ryan Adamson (acoustic guitar/vocals) relocated around a whole lot as a youngster, living in a number of different little cities in New South Wales where nation music reigned supreme, as opposed to the Metallica and Nirvana he adored. In the city of Manila he fulfilled kindred soul Caleb Goman (bass/vocals) before shifting to Griffith, where he experienced Ryan “Macca” McDonald (drums) and Brock Tengstrom (acoustic guitar/vocals). The second option three began Regular John — called for any Queens from the Rock Age track — and relocated to big town Sydney to run after the rock and roll & roll desire. Goman also relocated there for the same cause, searching for a new band of likeminded rockers to create a music group with before dropping in along with his aged high-school friend rather. In Sydney they performed their 1st gig to get local music group the Valentinos. It had been such a disheartening encounter — Goman experienced only just turned from acoustic guitar to bass to fill up the band’s space as well as the left-hander was playing a lent right-hand model lacking a string — they nearly broke up instantly afterwards. Nevertheless, they soldiered on with yet another gig because they’d been asked to try out at a historical place, the Annandale Resort, and even though the turnout was still little, the response was overwhelmingly positive. It provided them the impetus to transport on, and in 2007 they released the Marrickville 2204 EP, that was documented in five times straight, named following the suburb where they resided. Following that they continued to record their debut record, The Tranquil Atom Can be a Bomb, made by Tim Powles, drummer for the Cathedral. The documenting coincided with Adamson’s vertebral operation and he spent the complete time with a couple of metal pins in his back again and a higher medication dosage of painkillers in his blood stream. Immediately after the ultimate day of documenting he went in to the medical center and got the pins taken out. The album premiered in ’09 2009 and provided a glowing pleasant in Australian Rolling Rock.
