Redwing

Redwing was a music group from Sacramento, CA. The music group evolved from the New Breed of dog and later Pleased, including Timothy B. Schmit (Poco, the Eagles) in the lineup. After Schmit remaining in 1970 to become listed on Poco, his alternative in the music group was Andrew Samuels. The additional people of Redwing had been Tom Phillips, Ron Floegal, and George Hullin. In early 1970 the music group lower its first recording, Redwing, for United Performers. Their second recording, What This Nation Requirements, included Schmit once again as bassist (since Andrew Samuels got switched back again to guitar as well as the music group couldn’t choose a long term bass participant). During this time period the music group experienced five even more bass players before locating Dale Lyberger. In those days Tom Phillips have been affected by Rusty Young’s metal acoustic guitar playing in Poco and began playing the metal acoustic guitar himself with Redwing. The band’s third recording, 1973’s Consider Me House, was a country-flavored work mixed with rock and roll and bluegrass. Their forth recording, Deceased or Alive, was even more rock-oriented, as well as the band hoped it might be their breakthrough recording. Around this period the music group added 5th member John Myers like a permanent bass participant replacing Lyberger.
