Red Superstars Theory’s core members are guitarist/vocalist Adam Bertram of 764-Hero and drummer Jeremiah Green, who used Modest Mouse for a while. Similar to their various other two rings, the Washington Condition natives combined generating guitars and passionate vocals into cathartic indie-rock, but as their 1997 debut But Rest Came Slowly demonstrated, the group also added lengthy, moody passages with their music that evoked slow-core groupings like Codeine in addition to orchestral agreement. The group’s Contact & Move debut, 1999’s Lifestyle IN THE Bubble COULD BE Beautiful, presented a softer, gentler edition from the band’s emotive sound and visitor shows from indie celebrities like Lois Maffeo. Their self-titled sophomore work followed a 12 months later.
