Red Sparowes

Red Sparowes perform a kind of intensified, experimental post-rock having a notable usage of pedal steel guitar. The LA act created in 2003 and features current and previous members of additional rings: guitarist Bryant Clifford Meyer (Isis), guitarist Josh Graham (visuals for Neurosis), bassist Greg Burns up (Halifax Pier), bassist/guitarist Andy Arahood (Angel Locks), and drummer David Clifford (Pleasure Forever). After documenting demos for his or her debut recording, they toured using the Dillinger Get away Plan and Crafted from Babies. Following a departure of initial bassist/guitarist Jeff Caxide (Isis) and drummer Dana Berkowitz in past due 2004, In the Soundless Dawn was released in Feb 2005 through Neurot, house to Neurosis. Crimson Sparowes toured European countries in springtime 2005 as well as the U.S. afterwards that season with Pelican, Big Business, and Breather Resist. Another album, Every Crimson Center Shines Toward the Crimson Sun, premiered in Sept 2006.
