Red Jasper

This Bradenstoke, Wiltshire-based band mix folkist sentiments devoid of and out rock. Some sort of Anthrax -go-rustic, these are restricted, however when ‘live’, the prevents are taken out which is all guitars, natural leather and thunder. Shaped in the 80s by primary songwriters Davey Dodds (vocals, mandolin, tin whistle) and Robin Harrison (electric guitar), the music group also comprised Tony Heath (bass, key pad) and Tag Ollard (drums). Crimson Jasper’s second discharge, Sting In The Story, earned Ric Sanders on fiddle and Pat D’Arcy on saxophone. For the 3rd record onwards Jonathan Thornton (bass), Lloyd George (keyboards, vocals) and Dave Clifford (drums, percussion, vocals) changed Heath and Thornton in the music group’s line-up. Their last record in 1997 premiered with the Dutch record label, Cymberline.
