Rebecca Pidgeon

Actress/vocalist Rebecca Pidgeon was created in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, heading on to research in London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 1986 she sang on the demo recording trim by her guitarist friend Roger Fife, and seduced the attention from the small independent label Crimson Flame, which instantly agreed upon the duo release a the folk-pop work Glances Askances; Pidgeon afterwards fronted the group Ruby Blue, which in 1989 released the LP Down from Above. Around that same period she produced her feature film debut within the Dawning; she also co-starred within the London premiere of David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow, afterwards getting the acclaimed playwright’s wife. Pursuing her husband back again to the U.S., Pidgeon eventually starred on earth premiere of Mamet’s Oleanna, and in 1991 made an appearance in his film Homicide; in 1994, she also produced her single LP debut using the Raven. THE BRAND NEW York Young ladies’ Club implemented a year afterwards, and in 1998, Pidgeon came back with Four Marys. After that, she released the 2003 compilation record Retrospective as well as the studio efforts Challenging on Criminal offense (2005) and Behind the Velvet Drape (2008). Her 6th studio record, The Larry Klein-produced Slingshot, highlighted the politically billed single “Disintegration Guy.”
