Dedicated to a variety of Brazilian music with electronica, Rebeca Matta drew affects from Tom Zé and Tropicália on her behalf work, starting Tantas Coisas in 1999, album that fused a number of collages of Eastern and Brazilian musics and the usage of acoustic instruments, getting her the 1999 APCA (Association of Artwork Critics of São Paulo) reward. In 2000, her Garotas Boas Vão Pro Céu, Garotas Más Vão Pra Qualquer Lugar brought the originals “O Olho Nu” and “É Que A Vida É” and her edition for Chico Science’s “A Cidade”.
