Rebeca Jiménez

Rebeca Jiménez is a Spanish singer/songwriter whose eclectic audio is inspired by vintage singer/songwriters Tom Waits and Bob Dylan, rock and roll en español acts Nacha Pop and Radio Futura, as well as the electronica of Morcheeba and Portishead. Given birth to in Segovia in 1975, the sister of celebrity Lucía Jiménez analyzed piano and music theory from a age and started her profession fronting blues-rock music group Rosebund while at university or college. After shifting to Vienna to complete her research, she made an appearance in the film Shacky Carmine, released two albums with Madrid de los Austrias, and documented an unreleased LP with David Kano beneath the guise of Soulsugar. After adding to information by M-Clan, Maldita Nerea, and Quique González, she released her debut single record, Todo Llegara, in 2008, that was accompanied by the sophomore outing Valiente in 2011.
