A Bay Region rap duo formed at the start from the 1990s, RBL Posse (brief for Ruthless FOR LEGAL REASONS) was originally founded by Dark C and Mr. Cee. The set began producing monitors at Dark C’s studio room and surfaced in 1991 using the underground strike “Don’t Provide Me No Bammer.” Thanks a lot solely with their very own indie distribution through In-A-Minute Information, RBL sold nearly half of a million copies of the initial two albums, Lesson to become Discovered and Ruthless FOR LEGAL REASONS. Following a 1995 side task Single Creep, the duo was prepared to strike the big style having a major-label agreement through Atlantic; tragedy struck, nevertheless, when Mr. Cee was murdered inside a road killing. Dark C soldiered on, recruiting makers Mike Mosely, Rick Rock and roll, and Barr 9 plus MC Eiht for the 1997 LP A WATCH for a watch.
