This indie band formed in Newcastle, Tyne & Wear, England, in the summertime of 1990 once the quartet became uninterested in their college courses. The music group includes Jim Adam (vocals, electric guitar), Pete Lofty (vocals, electric guitar), Chris Scott (drums) and Dave Chary (bass), plus they released their debut one, ‘This Accurate Discomfort’, the next year, by way of a friend’s record label, Delicious chocolate Narcotic. It uncovered a music group capable of composing intense, persuasive rock and roll pop songs, inspired with the lo-fi choice scene in america. ‘They appear to have an improved notion of the indie ethic in the us, ’ says Adam. ‘They do stuff for the hell from it and not for a few kind of profession motive.’ Commensurate with this, the music group released some limited-edition 7-inches singles, like the well-received ‘Vertical Orange’/‘What’s The Stage’, before their debut mini-album and support slot machine games with Heavenly.
