Raynor Taylor

The majority of Taylor’s surviving compositions were written using the purpose of teaching. They consist of harpsichord sonatas, string sonatas, divertimenti, vocal functions and the enthusiastic opera “The Ethiop.” He was a choirboy in the Chapel Royal and sang in the funeral assistance for Handel. He became an organist for Chelmsford in 1765 and shifted to america in 1792. Taylor was extremely mixed up in musical lifestyle of Philadelphia where he was the organist at St. Peter’s and marketed music in the theater. In 1820 he helped to discovered the Musical Finance Culture. Taylor was also popular being a gifted key pad performer and improviser. Vocal compositions have scored by Taylor included operas, glees, cathedral anthems and theatrical music. He previously a flare for the comic.
