Raymond Van Het Groenewoud

Among Belgium’s most popular rock and roll singers, Raymond Vehicle Het Groenewoud started his profession like a guitarist for Johan Verminnen before forming the group Louisette with Erik Vehicle Neygen in 1972. Explaining himself like a poet, philosopher, and clown, then released a solo profession by using his regular support music group De Centimeters a yr later, rating his first strike in 1977 with “Meisjes” and his first number 1 in 1990 with “Liefde Voor Muziek.” In the 2000s he became renowned for his protest tunes, like the anti-Bush “Down with America” and “WapperSong,” which rallied against the programs for Antwerp’s Lange Wapper Bridge.
