Ray Walston

b. 22 November 1918, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, d. 1 January 2001, Beverly Hillsides, California, USA. Walston’s stage profession included performances on Broadway in minimal roles in performs like a revival of LEADING Web page (1946), The CORPORATE JUNGLE (1949), the musicals Me And Juliet (1953) and Home Of Blooms (1954). Then gained the plum function of Mr. Applegate, the Devil in disguise, in the stage musical Damn Yankees (1955), performing ‘Those Were THE NICE Old Times’. Walston gained the Tony Prize as Best Professional while co-star Gwen Verdon (Lola) gained as Best Celebrity. From the past due 50s Walston was mainly in movies and tv but came back to Broadway for WHO WAS SIMPLY That Female I Noticed You With (1958) and Agatha Sue, I REALLY LIKE You, which had a three-day work in 1966. His movies from the middle-50s included humor and dramatic tasks and in addition some musicals. In 1957 he is at Kiss Them FOR ME PERSONALLY, which starred Cary Offer and Jayne Mansfield.
